Diablo 4 Players Create AFK Builds – Taking the ‘Action’ Out of Action RPG!

In the eternal battle against demons, one might think it’s all blood, sweat, and rapid-fire mouse clicks. But Diablo 4 players, being the industrious and sometimes cheeky lot they are, have taken a slightly lazier approach—crafting the ultimate AFK (Away From Keyboard) builds. Yes, it’s 2024, and instead of grinding out hours of gameplay to loot and crush enemies, some enterprising Nephalem are turning Diablo 4 into the magical equivalent of an idle game. If you’ve ever fantasized about sipping coffee while your character effortlessly slaughters minions of Hell, welcome to your new reality.

What’s This AFK Build Business All About?

For the uninitiated, an AFK build in a game like Diablo 4 involves creating a character setup that essentially fights on its own. That’s right: minimal-to-zero input required. These builds often rely on a combination of skills, passive abilities, specific gear, and clever positioning, creating an autopilot murder machine that even the Lord of Terror himself would admire (or hate, depending on his mood).

  • Why Go AFK?: Maybe you’ve got chores, need a snack break, or just want to flex how effortlessly you can earn loot. Whatever the reason, AFK builds let you rack up XP while barely lifting a finger.

How Players Are Making It Happen

You might be wondering, “How is this even possible in Diablo 4?” It’s not as simple as telling your hero to “chillax” while demons throw themselves at your feet. The magic is in the build:

  • Skills & Passives That Do the Heavy Lifting: Players have discovered combinations of skills and passives that work harmoniously to auto-cast, retaliate, or passively deal damage. Think powerful area-of-effect abilities combined with cooldown reductions and regenerating shields.
  • Gear, Gear, Gear: Just like in classic Diablo fashion, the right gear makes or breaks the build. Some AFK builds rely on specific legendary items that trigger powerful effects when you’re hit or when enemies come too close. For instance, armor that damages enemies on contact or weapons that create perpetual effects.
  • AI Allies: Minions and AI-controlled allies (like Golems or summons) can be key to making the AFK dream work, creating a screen-filling army of doom while the player catches some Z’s.

The Pros and Cons of AFK Builds – Is This Genius or Lazy?

The Diablo 4 community is split—some hail AFK builds as brilliant ingenuity, while others view them as stripping the heart out of an “action” RPG. After all, doesn’t Diablo shine when you’re bashing demon skulls yourself?

  • Pros:
    • Hands-Free Looting: Get gold, items, and experience without the grind. Ideal for multitaskers!
    • Amusement Factor: There’s a certain joy in watching your build wreak havoc without your involvement—like a Rube Goldberg machine of demon death.
    • Optimization Creativity: Building an AFK setup isn’t easy; it takes clever thinking, game knowledge, and sometimes sheer luck to perfect.
  • Cons:
    • Where’s the Action?: AFK builds take away the adrenaline-fueled gameplay and skillful reactions Diablo is known for.
    • Balancing Concerns: Such builds could mess with game balance, leading to future nerfs or patches that impact everyone.
    • Moral Dilemmas: Some purists feel AFK farming goes against the spirit of Diablo. Where’s the honor in loot you didn’t fight for?

The Developer’s Dilemma – What Will Blizzard Do?

While players love to push the limits, developers have a tricky line to walk when it comes to AFK builds. If such setups become too widespread, Blizzard might step in to nerf or adjust game mechanics to keep the spirit of the game intact. Historically, Diablo games have always had a bit of a “tinker till it breaks” culture, and Blizzard often reacts when things go a bit too far (looking at you, broken builds of yesteryears).

  • Possible Responses: Blizzard might adjust gear stats, rework skills, or introduce conditions to keep players more engaged. Or, they could embrace the creativity and adjust the game to support more “smart automation” in interesting ways. After all, if Nephalem want to AFK, who’s to say they shouldn’t?

Are AFK Builds Here to Stay?

Like any trendy cheese in a game, AFK builds will have their moment in the sun. Whether Blizzard lets them linger or smites them like a Heaven’s Fury beam remains to be seen. But for now, they’re a testament to player ingenuity and the ever-evolving ways people find to engage (or not engage) with games.

Conclusion

AFK builds may not be for everyone, but they illustrate what makes the Diablo community great—endless creativity, min-maxing obsession, and a bit of cheeky laziness. So, whether you’re working on your own idle-killer or prefer the thrill of hands-on demon-slaying, one thing’s clear: there’s never a dull moment in Diablo 4.

Now, excuse me while I test out some AFK builds of my own—strictly for research purposes, of course! See you in Sanctuary!

Embracing the Chaos: Diablo 4's Stance on Overpowered Builds

The Balancing Act in Diablo 4

In the realm of action RPGs, particularly in a franchise as storied as Diablo, the balance between character power and game challenge is a tightrope walk. Diablo 4, the latest installment in the series, is no exception. The developers have shared insights into their approach to overpowered builds, a topic that often stirs passionate discussions among the game's community.

Diablo 4's Philosophy on Power Builds

The essence of Diablo's gameplay lies in its character builds – the unique combinations of skills, gear, and strategies that players use to conquer the game's hellish landscapes. In Diablo 4, the developers have acknowledged the allure and inevitability of overpowered builds. Rather than strictly nerfing these builds, the team aims to embrace them as a part of the game's evolving meta.

The Role of Overpowered Builds in Player Experience

Overpowered builds in Diablo 4 serve a dual purpose. Firstly, they provide a sense of achievement and power fantasy for players who invest time in optimizing their characters. Secondly, they set a benchmark for the community, inspiring other players to experiment and innovate with their builds.

Balancing Community Feedback and Game Design

The Diablo 4 team is tasked with the challenging job of balancing these powerful builds while ensuring the game remains challenging and engaging. This involves a careful consideration of community feedback and data analytics. The goal is to avoid homogenizing the gameplay experience while still offering a variety of viable playstyles.

The Future of Diablo 4's Meta

As Diablo 4 evolves, so will its meta. The developers are committed to monitoring and adjusting the game dynamically, ensuring that overpowered builds don't overshadow the game's diverse options. This ongoing process is crucial in maintaining a healthy game environment where creativity in build creation is rewarded, but not to the extent that it breaks the game's core mechanics.

Conclusion: A Dynamic Approach to Game Balance

Diablo 4's approach to overpowered builds reflects a modern understanding of game balance – one that values player creativity and diversity in gameplay. By embracing and managing these builds, the developers are fostering a game environment that is both challenging and rewarding, ensuring Diablo 4's place as a beloved title in the action RPG genre. As the game continues to grow, it will be fascinating to see how this philosophy shapes the Diablo experience for new and veteran players alike.

Diablo 4 Freeze Blizzard Sorcerer Build Guide

The Sorcerer, known to many as the Sorceress, is one of the most flexible classes in Diablo 4. This versatility is largely due to their access to a variety of elemental powers that can be combined to create unique and effective builds. One such build is the Freeze Blizzard character, which leverages chill effects, vulnerability, and strong crowd control abilities. This combination provides a potent toolset for exploring the wilds of Sanctuary, even when surrounded by hordes of enemies. The spells at the Sorcerer's disposal can slow enemies or completely stop them in their tracks, making this class an ideal choice for those who prioritize control over raw damage output.

In addition to its individual strength, the Freeze Blizzard Sorcerer Build shines in group settings. It brings utility to a party by slowing and freezing enemies, allowing damage-focused classes like the Barbarian to finish them off with ease. This dynamic creates a synergy where everyone benefits, making this build a popular choice for party play. Whether you're the primary damage-dealer or a support player, the Freeze Blizzard Sorcerer Build has something to offer that will make your Clan members eager to team up with you.

Skill Tree Progression

Building a successful Freeze Blizzard Sorcerer requires careful progression through the skill tree. The following sequence is recommended:

  1. Begin by investing in Frost Bolt and Ice Shards, enhancing both skills as you go.
  2. Next, invest in Frost Nova, gradually increasing its level to the maximum.
  3. Teleport is another crucial skill, useful for maintaining safe distance or closing gaps when necessary.
  4. Blizzard, the namesake of this build, should be introduced midway through your progression and eventually maxed out.
  5. Deep Freeze and its enhancements provide potent crowd control capabilities.
  6. Skills like Permafrost, Hoarfrost, Frigid Breeze, and Icy Touch add additional layers of control and survivability.
  7. Finally, wrap up your progression with Precision Magic and Elemental Dominance to enhance your overall damage output.

Recommended Enchantment Spells

Enchantment Spells add additional depth to your build, providing passive benefits and unique interactions:

  1. Blizzard is a natural choice for this build. As an enchantment, it follows you around, constantly dealing damage to nearby enemies. Paired with a well-timed Frost Nova, you can freeze enemies and intensify the hail of your Blizzard.
  2. Teleport offers extra mobility, a valuable asset for the squishy Sorcerer. Use it to evade danger or dive into the heart of enemy crowds, followed by a combination of Frost Nova, Blizzard, and Deep Freeze to quickly annihilate adversaries.

Alternatively, you can consider:

  1. Ice Shards as an enchantment can provide extra damage. Any frozen enemy will instantly become a target for an Ice Shard.
  2. Frost Bolt is a reliable addition that can help slow down larger foes or speed up their takedown.

Recommended Aspects

Finally, enhancing your build with the right Aspects can significantly improve your effectiveness:

  • Aspect of Shared Misery increases the chance for crowd control effects to spread among enemies.
  • Aspect of the Umbral restores your primary resource when you crowd control an enemy.
  • Exploiter's Aspect and Aspect of Control both increase crowd control duration, and they increase your damage against Unstoppable enemies.
  • Aspect of the Frozen Tundra causes exploding Ice Spikes to form in the area while Deep Freeze is active.

With the right combination of skills, enchantments, and aspects, the Freeze Blizzard Sorcerer build can provide a balance of power, control, and utility that makes it a compelling choice forboth solo and group play in Diablo 4. This build allows you to control the battlefield, slow down and freeze enemies, and contribute significantly to your team's success in every fight. Start building your Freeze Blizzard Sorcerer today and experience the chilling power that this build brings to the wilds of Sanctuary.

Unleashing the Undead: Diablo 4 Endgame Shadow Summoner Necromancer Build

In the world of Diablo 4, the Necromancer reigns supreme, raising an army of the dead to wage war against the forces of Hell. With the right build, these undead hordes can carry players well into the late game, providing undeniable power. One of the most potent strategies revolves around a level 50+ endgame build that capitalizes on Shadow skills and puts the Necromancer's undead army in the spotlight.

The Shadowblight Summoner

This build relies heavily on Shadow damage, bolstered by the Shadowblight Key Passive and related passives that enhance the damage output of your minions. The Shadow Summoner build employs Reapers, Shadow Mages, and the Bone Golem. Reapers are perfect for builds that don't rely on critical hits as they deal more flat damage than other Skeletal Warriors. Shadow Mages, on the other hand, can apply Shadowblight, making them an ideal choice. Bone Golem plays a crucial role in taunting enemies, keeping both the player and their skeletal allies alive while providing usable corpses.

As for abilities, Blight is the Core Skill, notable for its capacity to slow targets and boost minion damage. Bone Splinters is the preferred Basic Skill in this build, thanks to its ability to inflict the Vulnerable status on enemies. The Blighted Corpse Explosion is vital for keeping the battlefield tainted with Shadow damage without the need to use Essence. To clear large groups of enemies, the build employs Bone Storm, which creates damaging fields over the player and their golem, and is especially effective against monsters with damage-reduction auras.

Building for Survival and Damage

The passives selected for this build cater to the needs of minions, Darkness damage, and survivability. All minion mastery nodes, including those in the Ultimate tree, as well as the Shadow passives in the second Corpse & Macabre tree are recommended for maximum effectiveness. Hewed Flesh can spawn Corpses via Blight's Damage over Time (DoT), making it a versatile choice in any situation. It can stack Shadowblight multiple times per cast, boosting damage. Since minions will inevitably die, generating extra Corpses for more minions is essential. In addition, Death's Embrace is necessary to keep players alive, as the build often involves close-range combat.

For more skeletons and to boost their Damage Per Second (DPS), players should grab Viscous and Blood Getter, along with Reanimation and Frenzied Dead. An item with the Ultimate Shadow Aspect can turn Bone Storm into a Darkness skill, capping off the offensive power of this build. The Blighted Aspect is also worth having, as it offers short periods of increased damage after Shadowblight is triggered 10 times. Players can opt for Rapid for faster Bone Splinter attacks, but it might be worth swapping out for Umbral for more Essence generation.

Gear Up for Battle

In terms of gear, players should prioritize items that boost Vulnerable Damage, Damage to Affected by Shadow Over Time Enemies, and anything that enhances minion stats. Though no specific Uniques are required, the Ring of Mendeln can significantly increase minion damage if players can keep their total minion count over seven. It offers up to a 10% chance on a Lucky Hit to empower skeletons and golems, causing their next attack to explode.

The Cult Leader is the recommended Paragon Board for summoner builds as it contains all necessary buffs for skeletons and golems. Its special nodesall boost minions, making it a reliable choice. Hulking Monstrosity is another useful option that mainly buffs golems, and although not as crucial as Cult Leader, it can certainly be helpful. For Glyphs, Deadraiser, Control, Corporeal, and Darkness can all enhance minion damage, with Deadraiser being the priority due to its general use-case.

In conclusion, Diablo 4 offers players a unique opportunity to embrace the dark arts with the Necromancer's Shadow Summoner build. By effectively raising an undead army, strategically employing Shadow skills, and carefully choosing the right gear and passives, players can venture into the late game with an army capable of taking on the fiercest adversaries. Diablo 4 is now available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S, and it's time for players to step into the shoes of the Necromancer and unleash their undead army on the forces of Hell.

Unleashing Nature's Fury: Diablo 4 Druid Build Guide

The highly anticipated Diablo 4 has finally hit the shelves, and players are eager to dive into the dark and twisted world of Sanctuary. One of the most popular and versatile classes in the game is the Druid, a master of elemental forces and nature magic. In this comprehensive guide, we will explore the best builds and strategies to maximize the potential of your Druid character in Diablo 4. We've broken down this guide into three parts to help you digest the information easily and avoid any system overloads.

Part 1: Understanding the Druid Class

The Druid class in Diablo 4 is a powerful hybrid that excels in both melee combat and spellcasting. With a unique connection to the forces of nature, Druids can shape-shift into various animal forms, summon elemental storms, and command the earth to do their bidding.

1.1 Core Abilities and Specializations

To create a powerful Druid build, you need to understand the core abilities and specializations available to you. Diablo 4 offers three distinct talent trees for Druids:

1.1.1 Earth Magic: This tree focuses on harnessing the power of the earth to deal massive damage to enemies and control the battlefield. Key abilities include Earthquake, Boulder Toss, and Earth Spikes.

1.1.2 Storm Magic: Channel the fury of the elements with this specialization. Unleash lightning, wind, and frost to decimate your foes. Key abilities include Lightning Strike, Tornado, and Frost Nova.

1.1.3 Shape-shifting: Embrace your inner beast and transform into a variety of powerful animal forms to enhance your combat abilities. Key forms include Werewolf, Werebear, and Raven.

1.2 Attributes and Stats

Diablo 4 uses a streamlined attribute system, making it easier for players to focus on their desired playstyle. As a Druid, you will want to prioritize the following stats:

1.2.1 Intelligence: This is your primary attribute and will increase your spell damage and elemental resistances.

1.2.2 Vitality: Increases your health pool, making you more resilient in battle.

1.2.3 Willpower: Boosts your mana pool and mana regeneration, allowing you to cast spells more frequently.

Part 2: Best Builds and Playstyles

In this section, we will discuss three powerful Druid builds that cater to different playstyles: the Earthshaker, the Stormcaller, and the Shapeshifter.

2.1 Earthshaker Build

This build focuses on the Earth Magic specialization and is ideal for players who want to deal massive AoE damage and control the battlefield. Here's how to create the perfect Earthshaker Druid:

2.1.1 Talent allocation: Focus on investing points in the Earth Magic tree, prioritizing skills like Earthquake, Boulder Toss, and Earth Spikes. Additionally, invest in talents that increase the damage and effectiveness of your earth spells.

2.1.2 Gear: Look for equipment with high Intelligence, as well as bonuses to earth spell damage, critical strike chance, and spell haste.

2.1.3 Playstyle: Position yourself in the midst of enemies and unleash your devastating earth spells. Use Earthquake to disrupt and damage groups of enemies, followed by Boulder Toss for even more AoE damage. Earth Spikes will provide crowd control, keeping foes at bay.

2.2 Stormcaller Build

Unleash the fury of the elements with the Stormcaller build, specializing in Storm Magic. This build is perfect for players who want to deal massive ranged damage with elemental spells.

2.2.1 Talent allocation: Focus on investing points in the Storm Magic tree, prioritizing skills like Lightning Strike, Tornado, and Frost Nova . Additionally, invest in talents that increase the damage and effectiveness of your storm spells.

2.2.2 Gear: Look for equipment with high Intelligence, as well as bonuses to lightning, frost, and wind spell damage, critical strike chance, and spell haste.

2.2.3 Playstyle: As a Stormcaller, you'll want to maintain a safe distance from your enemies while raining destruction upon them. Use Lightning Strike to deal high single-target damage and Tornado to disrupt groups of enemies. Frost Nova is your crowd control tool, freezing enemies in place for easy pickings.

2.3 Shapeshifter Build

For players who prefer a melee-focused approach and want to embrace the power of the wild, the Shapeshifter build is the way to go. This build focuses on using shape-shifting forms to enhance your combat abilities.

2.3.1 Talent allocation: Invest points in the Shape-shifting tree, prioritizing Werewolf, Werebear, and Raven forms. Additionally, choose talents that increase the damage and survivability of your shape-shifting forms.

2.3.2 Gear: Look for equipment with a balance of Intelligence and Vitality, as well as bonuses to melee damage, critical strike chance, and attack speed. Some shape-shifting-specific gear will also enhance your abilities in specific forms.

2.3.3 Playstyle: As a Shapeshifter, you will be switching between forms depending on the situation. Use the Werewolf form for fast, high-damage melee attacks, the Werebear form for tanking and crowd control, and the Raven form for mobility and ranged spellcasting. Mastering the right form for each encounter is key to success with this build.

Part 3: Endgame and Group Play

Diablo 4's endgame content provides a real challenge, and the Druid class excels in both solo and group play. In this section, we will discuss how to adapt your builds and strategies for endgame content and group dynamics.

3.1 Endgame Content

When tackling endgame content, such as high-level dungeons, rifts, and boss encounters, you may need to adjust your build to better suit the challenges you'll face. Prioritize survivability and crowd control abilities, as well as maintaining a balance between damage output and utility.

3.2 Group Play

Druids can fill various roles in a group, depending on the chosen build. Earthshakers and Stormcallers can provide massive damage and crowd control, while Shapeshifters can serve as tanks or melee DPS. Communicate with your group to determine your role and adjust your build accordingly.

Conclusion

The Druid class in Diablo 4 offers a variety of playstyles, allowing players to experiment with different builds and strategies. Whether you prefer casting devastating elemental spells or taking on the form of ferocious beasts, our guide should help you make the most of your Druid character in Diablo 4. Now go forth and conquer the forces of darkness, and may the spirits of nature be with you!

Monks: Gold Find Farming Build, 300-400k an hour

This is a build I came up with for monks struggling to find a place to farm to get past A2-A3 Inferno. With the Crypts patched, the most effective place to gold find I found is NM Core of Arreat (Act 3 - Heart of Sin [Kill Azmodan]). Right now normal people can get this run done in around 2 minutes just killing the monsters, which would give a net profit of 200-300k an hour. With this build I'm able to finish runs in ~1:30 including opening every chest and demonic vessel (pots), calculating to be 300-400k an hour. So without any further introduction I'll skip the shitting and get to the point.

The build:

This build essentially combines tempest rush with spirit regeneration skills in order to allow you to rush your way throughout the strip. I have MoH specced to give +3 spirit per second and the passive to add +2 on top of that. On the gold find helmet and weapon (shitty 700 dps blue fist I bought for 40k) I have ~4 spirit per second and the tempest rune to reduce it to 8 seconds to channel. Due to the way the spirit regeneration adds up I only have ~8 spirit regeneration so I still lose 2 spirit per second but with the large pool I can still power my way throughout the entire run.

Equipment:

The gold find gear I have has a total of ~200% GF and ~25 gold pickup radius. I bought this all for about 150k total and tried to get just a few dex for damage, with this shitty set of gear on I have around 700 dex.

The run:
Basically you start up NM Act 3 - Heart of Sin on the last part, Kill Azmodan. You can do the first run by killing your way through to the end and hitting the checkpoint at the door from azmodan. From there you make a new game and it'll drop you right at the door and you can start doing it backwards everytime. Essentially you pop the mantra and summon the ally (I'm still experimenting with this third skill slot) and tempest rush your way to the first group of mobs. I pop sweeping winds when I see enough monsters that my tempest won't kill it.

The method I have for keeping my sweeping wind and spirit up is by killing monsters with FoT everytime I stop for a pot or a chest. 2-3 punches gets me enough spirit to easily get to the next pit stop leaving extra in case my wind stops. The radius of fire storm covers almost the entire width of the map so I prefer it over blade storm or the extended duration ones. I also stop rushing to kill elites (also to charge up my spirit).

Technical things:
  • Tempest rushing through the large groups of spiders yields quite a bit of gold
  • Click on every chest and demonic vessel, they give 200-500 gold usually.
  • Make sure your fire storm radius hits the bone piles ant hill looking things, those give 200-400 gold very often as well
  • Very often goblins spawn in this run, kill them with FoT
  • Succubus are annoying to deal with, if one runs away from you don't waste time trying to kill it.
I think that's about it I hope this helps you struggling monks!

Diablo 3 Wizard “Damage Absorb” Build

Today we have another build courtesy of the guys over at www.diablo3hero.com – which leads me to another point, if you are looking for an AWESOME guide for Diablo 3 you need to check that one out it is one of the best we have seen!

Anyway we have a Diablo 3 Wizard “Damage Absorb” Build for you and when you think of the wizard you don’t think of a tanking class or being able to survive for long in the middle of combat.
This build tries to change all of that!

Here is the Build:

Diablo 3 Wizard “Damage Absorb” Build:

To use the build you will need to get yourself a half-decent melee weapon and that will be enhanced with Spectral Blade. Then for your tanking skills so you can absorb all the damage you have Diamond Skin, Ice Armor and Archon and the passives will help to improve your critical and backing up your armor even more.

If you are looking for something a little different for the Wizard in Diablo 3 and are sick of being too squishy give this one a go!

Diablo 3 Wizard “Diablo Killer” Build

Today we have another build from the guys over at www.diablo3hero.com and this one was actually picked up from the forums with a claim that one of the first people to beat Diablo on Inferno mode was using a Wizard with this build.

Now this build is pretty strange and instead of using the usual skills in the correct slots you will need to mix it up a little.

That is cool though as this is not a usual build and you should use this on Diablo only.

Here is the build:

Diablo 3 Wizard “Diablo Killer” Build:

Here is a bit more info about how the build works:

For your primary skill you have Hydra and then the rune on top of this will give you a venom spitting Hydra as well.

You have Blizzard that will produce some cold damage and then the rune will cause this skill to last longer.
Slow time is a good one as this will indeed slow time but with the skill rune on it you will notice that your allies are sped up. This is actually mean to be used as a solo build.

Diamond Skin is a must have when taking on a boss of this magnitude and it will allow you to soak up damage and with the skill rune in place you will actually be able to absorb more damage.

Energy Armor and Force Armor is basically another defensive combo and you can swap between this one and Diamond Skin to stay alive.

Magic Weapon allows you to have some melee damage and boost magic effects. Then for your passives you have Glass cannon that will increase the damage you do and you also have the other passives to make most skills signature skills and lower the arcane cost of each.

If you are thinking of taking on Inferno give this build a try!

If you still need to level then head over to www.diablo3hero.com for a complete leveling guide and an entire catalogue of builds for all classes in D3!

Diablo 3 Monk Leveling Build For DPS Leveling

In this post we are going to cover another build from the guys over at www.diablo3hero.com and this one is for the Monk and will help you out if you are having trouble taking on the mobs and hordes of hell.

This actual build will make best use of the skills of the Monk which are Critical chance, Dodge, Armor, Vitality and Dexterity.

You will have your primary attack which is Crippling Kick and you should use this to soften up most of the mobs that you face. If you need a bit of extra stopping power you have the Lashing Tail Kick which will also knockback your foes.

Also you have Mantra of Conviction and this is good as you will be rewarded for fighting in the middle of the pack and you also have the Seven Sided Strike as well that works well against numbers. If you get into trouble you should use Serenity and that will protect you as well as reflect some of the damage back to the hordes of evil!

If you want to go all out you have Sweeping Wind and this will allow you to kill even the toughest foes creating lightning tornados when you score critical hits and you will do with so many AoE abilities!

You also have the passive skills which will boost your attack and defence equally!

Here is the build:

Diablo 3 AoE Wizard Damage Build

Although Diablo 3 is still just under a week away we have a special build for you guys courtesy of www.diablo3hero.com ( Try it out, they have a 60 day full refund!)that should set you off on the right track if you are going to be playing the Wizard on the 15th May 2012.

Of course for complete leveling guides, strategy guide and a full set of builds for the game head over to Diablo 3 Hero’s site and you will be able to get the guide at a special pre-launch price before the game is launched.

The Wizard in Diablo 3 is one of the best DPS classes in the game and can reek a huge amount of damage very quickly. Basically although it has HIGH damage it does not have that much defence so the key is to blast your enemies with attacks before they get close to you!

One set of skills that the Wizard does have is some awesome AoE skills which means “Area of Effect” and they are able to take on a lot of enemies at once.

This build will give you some awesome AoE abilities:

Here are the skills you will use:

  • Mouse Skills
  • Electrocute > Surge of Power
  • Teleport > Reversal
  • Action Bar Skills
  • Slow Time> Miasma
  • Blizzard > Grasping Chill
  • Meteor > Meteor Impact
  • Arcane Torrent > Cascade
  • Passive Skills
  • Evocation
  • Glass Cannon
  • Astral Presence
