Diablo 4 Will Finally Let Players Skip Mephisto Cutscenes

Diablo 4 Season 14 is bringing huge loot changes, new monsters, boss loops, Tower drama, Solo Self-Found confusion, and enough PTR discussion to make Sanctuary feel like a cursed committee meeting.

But sometimes the best change is much simpler.

According to Icy Veins’ recap of Blizzard’s Sanctuary Sitdown Q&A, Mephisto cutscenes will become skippable. The change is not expected to appear in the current PTR build, but it has been implemented as a frequently requested quality-of-life update.

And honestly, good. Very good. Demonic theater has its place, but not every farming loop needs a mandatory villain monologue.

Repetition Is Where Cutscenes Go to Die

The first time a major Diablo cutscene plays, it can be dramatic. The lighting is evil. The voice acting is ominous. Someone is probably saying something deeply worrying near a ritual object.

The tenth time, it is content.

The fiftieth time, it is punishment.

That is the problem Blizzard is quietly addressing here. Mephisto is one of Diablo’s biggest names, and he should feel dangerous, manipulative, and important. But once players are farming repeat content, forced cutscenes stop feeling cinematic and start feeling like a loading screen with better cheekbones.

This Is Small, But It Matters

Diablo 4’s current Season 14 conversation is dominated by larger changes. Mythic Uniques 3.0 is shaking up loot identity. Solo Self-Found is coming with a few important caveats. Tower Leaderboards have been delayed over ranking concerns. The Corrupted Reaper is being positioned as a major Mythic loot target.

Compared to all of that, skippable Mephisto cutscenes sound tiny.

They are not.

Small quality-of-life changes are often what make a live-service game feel less exhausting over time. Players can forgive a lot of grind if the game respects their time. They are much less forgiving when the same friction appears again and again, smiling like it has a lore justification.

Diablo 4 Needs Less Repeated Friction

This is the same reason players care about loot filters, stash space, currency caps, boss access, and repeated dungeon flow. It is not because every player suddenly became a UX designer. It is because ARPGs are built on repetition, and repetition turns tiny annoyances into boss fights.

If a player is farming Mephisto-related content, they should be fighting, looting, sorting, upgrading, and making terrible decisions with confidence. They should not be held hostage by a cutscene they have already watched enough times to quote in their sleep.

Mephisto can still be scary.

He just does not need unskippable screen time every time someone comes back to bully him for loot.

A Tiny Win for the Grind

Season 14 will be judged by its bigger systems. Mythic drops, Cube rerolls, Ruptures, leaderboards, and boss loops will decide whether the season feels sharp or bloated.

But skippable cutscenes are the kind of small win Diablo 4 needs more often. Less friction. Faster farming. Fewer moments where the player has to sit politely while a demon performs again.

Sometimes quality of life is not glamorous.

Sometimes it is just letting players press skip before Mephisto starts his little drama club routine.

How to Farm Exquisite Blood in Diablo 4 Season 4: A Comprehensive Guide

With the launch of Diablo 4 Season 4, Blizzard has introduced new and improved loot systems, making it easier for players to farm essential materials for summoning bosses. One such material, Exquisite Blood, is crucial for summoning Lord Zir and obtaining powerful gear. This guide will cover the best methods to farm Exquisite Blood in Diablo 4 Season 4, ensuring you can maximize your loot and optimize your character builds.

What is Exquisite Blood?

Exquisite Blood is a special material used to summon the boss Lord Zir in Diablo 4. Obtaining Exquisite Blood allows players to challenge this powerful boss and earn game-changing unique items, such as the Fractured Winterglass amulet and the Lidless Wall shield. With the new updates in Season 4, acquiring Exquisite Blood has become more accessible through various activities and events.

Best Methods to Farm Exquisite Blood

1. Nightmare Dungeons

Why Nightmare Dungeons?

Nightmare Dungeons are one of the most efficient ways to farm Exquisite Blood due to their high density of elite enemies. While not every elite will drop Exquisite Blood, the sheer number of elites encountered increases your chances of collecting this valuable material.

How to Farm

  • Run High-Level Nightmare Dungeons: Focus on dungeons that are challenging but manageable for your character. Higher difficulty levels typically yield better rewards.
  • Clear All Elites: Make sure to defeat every elite enemy you encounter, as they have a higher chance of dropping Exquisite Blood.
  • Repeat Efficiently: Optimize your dungeon runs for speed and efficiency, allowing you to farm more materials in less time.

2. World Bosses and Legion Events

World Bosses

World bosses are now spawning more frequently, every three hours instead of every six. This change provides more opportunities to engage and farm Exquisite Blood.

Legion Events

Legion Events have always been a reliable source of Exquisite Blood. These large-scale events feature numerous elite enemies and challenging encounters, increasing your chances of obtaining the material.

How to Farm

  • Participate Regularly: Keep track of world boss spawn times and join Legion Events whenever they occur.
  • Group Up: Playing with a group can help you defeat world bosses and elite enemies more efficiently, increasing your farming speed.
  • Focus on Event Objectives: Completing event objectives quickly and efficiently can maximize your rewards, including Exquisite Blood.

3. Public Events

Increased Frequency

Season 4 has introduced more frequent public events, and these events now also drop Exquisite Blood. This provides another accessible method for players to farm the material.

How to Farm

  • Join Public Events: Actively participate in public events as they appear on the map. These events are marked and often involve defeating waves of enemies or completing specific tasks.
  • Maximize Participation: Ensure you contribute significantly to the event to increase your chances of better rewards.

4. Helltides and The Iron Wolves

Helltides

Helltides are chaotic events where enemies become more powerful, but the rewards are significantly increased. Elite enemies in Helltides have a higher chance of dropping valuable materials, including Exquisite Blood.

The Iron Wolves

This faction can also be a source of Exquisite Blood through specific missions and encounters involving elite enemies.

How to Farm

  • Engage in Helltides: Participate in Helltides whenever they occur, focusing on defeating elite enemies and completing objectives.
  • Complete Missions for The Iron Wolves: Take on missions and tasks for The Iron Wolves that involve battling elite enemies to farm more materials.

Using Exquisite Blood

Summoning Lord Zir

Once you have collected enough Exquisite Blood, you can use it to summon Lord Zir. Defeating this boss can yield powerful and unique items crucial for optimizing your character builds.

Unique Items from Lord Zir

  • Fractured Winterglass Amulet: Provides significant stat boosts and unique effects.
  • Lidless Wall Shield: Offers exceptional defensive capabilities and additional bonuses.

Conclusion

Farming Exquisite Blood in Diablo 4 Season 4 has become more accessible thanks to Blizzard’s updates. By engaging in Nightmare Dungeons, world bosses, Legion Events, public events, and Helltides, players can efficiently gather the materials needed to summon Lord Zir and obtain powerful gear. Diablo 4 Guide: Farming Igneous Core for the Ultimate Challenge

In the ever-evolving world of Sanctuary, Diablo 4 Season 3 introduces a formidable new Construct threat, compelling players to upgrade their Seneschal Companions for a chance to explore the Vaults and confront Malphas. However, for those daring enough to face the Uber version of this demonic adversary, gathering Igneous Cores becomes a crucial task. Here's your comprehensive guide on how to farm Igneous Core in Diablo 4, unlocking the path to the Vault of the Loom and the ultimate showdown with Uber Malphas.

Understanding Igneous Cores

Igneous Cores are rare materials essential for opening the Vault of the Loom Dungeon, leading players to the Uber Malphas boss fight in Diablo 4 Season 3. Defeating Uber Malphas rewards players with the most coveted Tuning Stones for Seneschal Companions, alongside unique items and legendary aspects. Introduced in the 1.3.0 update as a replacement for Pearls of Warding, these cores are now the key to summoning Uber Malphas, offering players the chance to obtain the game's rarest Tuning Stones and other valuable rewards.

Farming Igneous Cores

The most efficient method to acquire Igneous Cores involves farming Heralds of Malphas. Follow these steps to summon and defeat these formidable foes:

  1. Locate Igneous Obelisks scattered around Sanctuary.
  2. Deactivate these obelisks to earn Elemental Cores.
  3. Collect Shattered Stones, which drop from enemies within the Vaults.
  4. Combine 3 Elemental Cores and 50 Shattered Stones at Voltaic Braziers to summon a Herald of Malphas. Defeating this Herald yields Igneous Cores.

To challenge Uber Malphas in the Vault of the Loom, players must gather 7 Igneous Cores and 250 Shattered Stones.

Alternative Summoning Method

Players can also attempt to summon the Son of Malphas, who randomly appears during Arcane Tremors and can invade any Nightmare Vault. While he is often found around the Seat of the Heavens (Fractured Peaks), his ability to one-shot opponents makes him a risky target, especially for solo players. Focusing on farming the Herald of Malphas is recommended for those venturing alone.

Preparing for the Challenge

Collecting Igneous Cores and facing Uber Malphas is no small feat. Players should ensure their Seneschal Companions are fully upgraded and that they have mastered their chosen class's combat strategies. Whether you're a Necromancer, Barbarian, Druid, or Sorcerer, being well-prepared is key to overcoming the challenges that lie within the Vault of the Loom.

Conclusion

Farming Igneous Cores in Diablo 4 Season 3 opens the door to some of the game's most thrilling encounters and rewarding experiences. By following this guide, players can confidently prepare to face Uber Malphas, earning themselves powerful companions and legendary loot. As always, stay tuned for more guides and tips to help you navigate the dangers of Sanctuary and emerge victorious.

Diablo 4: Infinite Spawn Glitch – A Loot Shower

In a world where game developers strive for balance, players are always on the lookout for loopholes to squeeze as much XP and rare items out of games as possible. Diablo 4 is no exception. Players have discovered an infinite spawn glitch that might be the most blatantly broken XP and item farm since the game's launch. This glitch takes place in Diablo 4's bite-sized dungeons known as cellars. Previously, these cellars had been largely ignored due to their relatively low rewards compared to regular dungeons. But now, they've become a potential gold mine for eager players.

The glitch was shared by Reddit user Ryulen, who posted a clip showing a room so full of items that the character was barely visible. The screen overflowed with item names, looking like a page from a book. The clip showcased the potential of this glitch, which, with the right event and timing in a cellar, can lead to a colossal amount of XP and loot.

To trigger the infinite spawn glitch, players need to enter a cellar and look for an event involving hostages. If such an event isn't present, they can reset it by logging out and back in, or by visiting another cellar. Once a hostage event is found, players need to let the enemies kill the hostages and wait until the last five seconds on the event timer before wiping out every enemy. If done correctly, the event will conclude, a chest will spawn, and enemies will start respawning indefinitely1.

Some players suggest that the infinite respawn can be triggered when the first enemy pack is killed with two or three seconds left on the event timer, but factors like latency and character builds could influence the result. If the glitch doesn't activate, players can reset it or try in another cellar.

Once the glitch is activated, players can farm these respawned enemies to their heart's content. They can teleport back to town to manage their inventory, but they need to return to the cellar within a few minutes to prevent it from resetting.

Despite the massive loot and XP advantage this glitch provides, players should be aware that using it carries a risk. Blizzard may suspend or ban accounts exploiting this glitch. Hence, it is advised to use this only after finishing the main campaign and while trying to climb past level 50, where characters are capable of annihilating packs of enemies swiftly.

For now, this glitch remains unfixed, but it's likely Blizzard will address it soon. The company has previously stated its commitment to ensuring that farming in dungeons isn't more profitable than participating in the game's endgame activities, such as Helltides and Nightmare Dungeons. This glitch, being a direct exploit, is unlikely to remain for long.

In the ever-evolving landscape of Diablo 4, players continue to find ways to optimize their gains, whether through clever strategy or exploiting glitches. The infinite spawn glitch is just another chapter in this ongoing saga. While it's a fun diversion for now, players should be prepared for its inevitable patch in the future.

Diablo 4 Nerfs Popular Farming Spot, Causing Player Discontent

In the world of online gaming, player experience is paramount. Recent developments in Blizzard's Diablo 4 have provoked an outcry among the player base due to a series of experience nerfs in the game's dungeons. In particular, the spawn rate for Elites in many popular dungeons has been significantly reduced, leading to frustration and discontent among players.

A Change in Farming Dynamics

The journey to reach the level cap and challenge the Pinnacle Boss in Diablo 4 is no small feat. It requires considerable patience, effort, and strategic gameplay. While some streamers have managed to achieve this goal several times across different characters, the majority of Diablo fans adopt a more measured approach to their leveling journey.

In Diablo 4, players have traditionally turned to select Nightmare Dungeons with a higher-than-normal monster density to farm experience, particularly in the absence of Rifts from the Reaper of Souls. These dungeons provide a unique challenge, with a lesser density of hostile mobs in the instances and open world when compared to its predecessor. This setup is designed to slow down gameplay and emphasize the quality of encounters over quantity, providing players with a variety of unique enemies to battle.

However, many players still derive immense satisfaction from the thrill of obliterating a crowded screen of enemies with a few button presses. The nerfing of experience gain from these densely populated dungeons has thus been a cause for concern, as it disrupts a long-established and beloved playstyle.

The Ruins of Eridu: A Case Study

The Ruins of Eridu in the Region of Hawezar had become a prime spot for players seeking to ascend the World Tiers in Diablo 4. This dungeon's objective was simple: "Slay All Enemies". Once a certain number of enemies were defeated, additional Elite packs would spawn on top of a random player, causing a significant surge in experience gain amidst the resulting chaos and mayhem.

However, Blizzard's recent nerfs have targeted this and other such dungeons that proved to be optimal farming choices for experience. The nerfs have effectively halved the amount of experience that Diablo 4 players can earn when repeatedly running the Ruins of Eridu, as the number of Elites that can spawn has been significantly reduced. The news, initially shared by user darK_Cam on the Diablo 4 subreddit and corroborated through several testing sessions by websites like Wowhead, has left the player community scrambling to find the best alternative to leveling up in Diablo 4.

Looking to the Future

While Blizzard's dedication to refining and improving Diablo 4 is commendable, the reality of the situation is that players will always seek out the most efficient routes to achieve their goals. Nerfing one option does not eliminate the problem; it merely shifts it elsewhere. If the pattern of reducing mob density in popular dungeons continues simply because they are effective leveling options, Diablo 4 may face a tedious path to endgame, potentially burning out a significant portion of its player base before they even begin their journey at Level 100.

As it stands, Diablo 4, which is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S, is at a critical juncture. The developers need to balance between maintaining game integrity and keeping the player base engaged and satisfied. The actions taken in the near future will determine the game's trajectory and its place in the hearts of its dedicated fans.

100% AFK Gold / Exp Farm - 4 Mil per Hour

Been messing around looking for exploits lately, and found a nice little spot to farm gold and exp. The exp is pretty minimal, but the gold is pretty good considering you can do it while asleep / at work. Heres the steps:

Required items:
  • Gladiator Gauntlets
  • Custarian Wristguards

  1. Get the bounty for "The Lord of the Hill" in Act 5
  2. Run up to the area and Leap / Teleport to the top. (You may not need leap or teleport, haven't tested it too much yet)
  3. Once up there, ignore the boss and clear out the area.
  4. Stand in area shown in the screenshot below, and spam AOE moves to kill the enemies.

If done right, the enemies will infinitely get stuck and never be able to hit you, meanwhile you can shove a quarter or rubber band an AOE move like leapquake to kill them and collect gold (since leaping is considered moving, and picks up the gold). Gladiator Gauntlets will keep spawning gold on the ground for getting "Massacre" bonuses. I've been doing it on T6 but I'm not sure if it really matters.

I'm hoping you guys can come up with some more theories / ideas to make this work better since I've only been testing it for the last hour or so.

AFK Legendary Farming 2.0 - New Method

I stumbled across this forum not too long ago, didn't know a site like this existed. I've used a lot of the AFK farming methods mentioned here until they got fixed. Recently I discovered a new method to AFK farm that should not be as easily patched like the others. This method does not get any significant gold or XP, only legs but this is the main goal of AFK farming anyways, as the gold and XP aren't that great in the previous methods. As far as I know, this has not been mentioned elsewhere so I decided to sign up and share this with you guys.

The concept is simple, but the execution takes optimization for your class/skills/gear. Basically, this method takes advantage of the guaranteed leg you get after x hours. Here's a quote from blue on this.

We do have a safety net in place to help even out those long periods without a Legendary drop in the form of (what we call) the “unlucky” bonus. This bonus slowly increases your Legendary drop rate over time and is based on the amount of time you’ve spent fighting monsters without seeing a Legendary drop normally.

This is the basis for all the previous AFK farming methods; it is why killing trash whites will still net legs over time. It seems the timer is roughly 2 hrs before you are guaranteed a leg. However, you DO NOT HAVE TO KILL ANYTHING for the timer to count up, you just have to be engaged in combat. See where I'm going with this? The concept to this method is simple and as follows:

1) Find any large group of monsters (No longer requires infinite spawn locations!)
2) Use a method that will allow you to slowly kill them while afk over several hours
3) ???
4) Profit

Depending on how you do it, a large pack can last for 10+ hours. It will not last indefinitely but will be long enough fort a night's sleep or a day's work. You can easily "reset" by making a new game and starting again. I have done this and gotten the 1 leg/2 hr average that I've been getting with previous infinite spawn AFK methods. The trick is optimizing your set up, but once you do you can start it up trivially.

Here's how I do this with my WD, but this method works with any class. The farm spot I use is A3 Areat Core where it spawns a bunch of those small trash mobs. I stack a lot of LPS and toughness. For my WD passives I use jungle fortitude, blood ritual and physical attunement to stay alive. I also have the ring that doubles your LPS based on your life, forgot the name, as well as St. Andrews Gage for the periodic shield. This shield gives me a buffer time for my LPS to catch up so I stay alive. I also have the shoulder that makes everything not take durability damage.

I run around aggroing everything I can, easily 50+ since there are so many of those little guys. I stick my guy in a corner so I only get attacked by a few at a time while the others wait in line. I spam Hex-Hedge Magic using something to hold down my key to not be afk. Hedge magic is perfect since it summons a guy that does no damage and heals me to stay alive.

For my kill method I use a low level item that has some thorn damage and Bul-Kathos's Wedding Band. Bul-Kathos deals 0.4% of their max life in damage (also heals you, bonus!). Here's a quick table of how much damage Bul Kathos deals by itself:

Time(min) - % Health remaining
0 - 100
1 - 79
2 - 62
5 - 30
10 - 9
20 - 0.81
40 - 0.0066

The ring itself can not kill anything so I use a little thorn damage to finish them off and the first mob dies in about an hour. Since the ring is AOE, once the first one dies, others slowly follow at a steady pace every 10-20 min. I usually wake up to 3/4s dead and several legs. I just remake a game and in 3 min I've aggroed a bunch and set it up again (no more RNG luck to find a specific spawn location anymore!).

So it takes some optimization to get it set up and depends on what gear/skills you have access to, but once you have it down it will work forever. The ring helps, but I'm sure you can figure out another way to do it, be creative. You also might have more luck at different locations and with other mobs. Good luck!

5-6 Legs/HR ( EXPLAINED - New afk farm)

The flaw

There are "rat callers" who spawn "plagued vermin". Those rat callers are always x-yards away from you, leaving those plagued vermin's very close to you. With thorn damage you will damage the rat callers, resulting in a dead game over time. The trick is to use firewalkers. With this, you will kill the plagued vermin's, but not the rat callers.

Walk trough:

Take the WP to Westmarch Heights in act 5. Either bounty or adventure, it does not matter. Next, you have to find the "repository of bones" dungeon. This is random, not every game has this dungeon. When it is in your game (high chance), it should be close to the WP. Its a stairway down to the dungeon.

After you are in, you simply walk trough the game gathering some rat callers. Your agro on those is not that big, so you might have to lure them a few times. The next part is to stand in a corner and enjoy.

Extra

You will need a lot of the following:

  • Life
  • Life per second
  • Armor

A cool extra is the "rogar's huge stone" legendary, which gives % life per second based on your missing life.
It might be just random normal white mobs, but they come in great numbers.  Hence you really do need a lot of toughness and healing.
Either you can go for a nice 2H, or a 1H with a ruby for maximum damage (fire walkers is based on weapon damage!). While the 2H can max your DPS more, a 1H will give you an option for a shield.

Also do not forget:
You cannot have ANY thorns damage or area damage! If you have that, you will kill the rat callers.

Obviously you can use the barbarian skill "threatening shout" with grim to increase your gains and shoulders of zakara to make sure your gear does not break.

AFK farming - 2 billion xp/hr + tons of item drops [help needed]

Info
  • Adventure or normal mode

  • Spawn location: Edges of the area
  • Lead the elite far away and the minions keep spawning.

I cannot see pic clearly but it's probably torment 4. Can do it 5 and 6. I find it more efficient on 5.

Possible 100% safe method for t6
By vaulting out of the area very quickly after pulling the boss it seems possible to get the spawns stuck behind this pillar that falls down. I have to test this more tomorrow.

The downside of this method is that you can only get 2x3 spawns at max if you stand in this corner. The far west 3 mob pack wont spawn.

Khazra Den power leveling.

Just saw this and wanted to post it here for everyone, I take no credit for this as it is shamelessly copy pasta from Dfans enjoy. Pretty sure it will get patched rather quick though so make use of it while you can.

Legendary Farm.

After all the nerfs to purple elites i'm finding this a decently efficient way to farm legs, and some Gold/XP.
Chest is 100%

Find Bounties requiring you to "Clear" The second level of a cave etc. (Resplendent Chest is guaranteed on level 2 of these bounties) Run through avoiding mobs, and loot the chest. Generally i use act 1 and 2, then just restart the game. Running on torment 6 the chest very often drops a legendary. These boots are a big help - http://us.battle.net/d3/en/item/illusory-boots-29WYI0

[Guide]Xp Farming without the need of good gear

I will now share with you a method i recently discovered which you can use to powerlevel your alts. Its perfect for low geared characters because it doesnt require you to kill anyone on Torment 6 and is easy and fast to do(by fast i mean you dont need to refresh the game 30 times to wait for a certain rare bounty to spawn)

Here is a video on how to do this:

If you dont want to watch the video read below:

Steps to complete this route:

  1. Set game to Campaign mode and select the quest "Rumford at the Gate" ACT I
  2. Make the difficulty to Normal if you have no gear whatsoever. Doesnt matter what difficulty you choose here just pick the easiest one for you.
  3. Go outside to Rumford and start the quest.
  4. Kill the first wretched mother to get the Bonus to the quest. The Bonus is to kill 3 Wretched Mothers.
  5. Proceed and kill 2 of the 3 mothers. After you have killed the 2nd one teleport to town and exit the game
  6. Before you resume the game change difficulty to Torment 6 and then click Resume game
  7. The quest will remain the same. It will say you have killed 2 out of 3 mothers. Go outside of town and right next to the gate there will be a Wretched Mother.
  8. Lure her into the town by hitting her with ranged attacks. Once she steps inside the town she is instantly killed and you are granted ~10,000,000 XP at level 60 and 80k gold.
  9. Repeat
  10.  Get bored of Diablo and go cook a cake!

P.S. KEEP IN MIND THIS WILL PROBABLY GET NERFED SOON.

1 Billion exp/hr + 9M Gold/hr | ANY gear, half-afk.

I'll let the video speak for itself but i'll just say that this works ALOT better with 4 people letting everyone create a party until they get it and you'll have it almost all the time. Also, if you do it with a party only you will get it but there's a way for two people to get it and that is that one person goes there the first time and then you go there and complete the bounty. That means he starts the bounty (will say in chat) and you finish it. That way both will get two quests completed.  Happy farming!

Shatterbone! (The new Manglemaw)

Now that Manglemaw farming has been nerfed, I went looking for another spot to easily get legendaries. I found this:

Act 2, [3-1].
Portal to Khasim Outpust, run through the outpost and on to the next Waypoint. Log out. That's all the preparation needed!

  1. Log in and Waypoint to Road of Alcarnus
  2. Go right and kill off Shatterbone. [Do not walk onto the bridge; your active checkpoint will be moved]
  3. Rinse and repeat.

How to chain farm Mathael

1-Just clear the lvl 2 of Pandemonium fortress until the Malthael portal.
2-Take the checkpoint
3-Kill Malthael
4-When Malthael is dead take all loots quickly , press escape and leave the game.
5-The quest "kill Malthael" take about 15 sec to be validated you must quit the game before. So if you doing this fast 1 sec to take all leg and 10 sec to leave the game.

just after that you can restart the game just at the Malthael portal again.

Enjoy loots

Triple Goblin / Cursed Chest Hotspot / Imperial Farm

This spot was nerfed in vanilla but apparently its reverted back again and even better than before

Waypoint: Act 1, Northern Highlands

This small area has a garantueed goblin + a chance for a cursed chest that spawns a champ pack

When done, move north to the next area where there is another goblin + a chance for a cursed chest that spawns normal mobs

There is about a 75% chance for an additional goblin in one of the 2 area's

There are also up to 5 champion packs around + an additional 2 shrines where you can spawn champs with Nemesis Bracers

Thursday, 3 April 2014

Act 5 - Cemetary Chests + Gold Farming

Waypoint: Act 5 - Briarthorn Cemetery

This run gives you a high amount of gold per run + alot of chests and destructible objects.
Currently running as a max speed DH, this yields me a fair amount of legendary's per hour and about 100 to 300K gold per run.

As soon as you use the waypoint, move north and stick to the edge of the map and run all the way around untill you're back at the waypoint.

If you only care about loot this is best done with 2 players splitting up each side till you meet and TP out with Homing Pads

Use firewalkers or any other passive aoe to break destructible objects. Chakram Shuriken as DH for example.

I'm eager to hear your results!

Bounty runs (extra) legendaries?

So, quick explanation!

If you are 4 people, running normal bounty runs, completing a single bounty each, so it takes around 20 minutes to farm 5 caches.
That's ofc normal BUT!

As you know, chests, corpses, urns, etc also has a change to drop legendaries.

If, let's say you are running 4 people and there are 5 acts in 1 game with 5 bounties in each act = 25 bounties right? yes.

The "exploit" here is:
All the bountie zones that YOU didnt complete, but your 3 other mates did, which will rougly be 75% of the bountie zones, since you are 4 people.
They can have legendaries on the ground, so if you go to a zone that you didnt complete a bounty in, it can have a legendary on the ground!

Explanation:
  1. Chests/urns/corpses etc. are GAME wise, which means if you stand in act 1 and your friend opens a chest in act 5, you are likely to get a legendary from that chest.
  2. If you just tp to to all the waypoints in a game that you did bounties 4 people in, you are PRETTY likely to get a legendary, we do this all the time, and atleast 2 of us gets legendaries, if all the party members just remembers to open everything that is openable.
  3. It takes around 1 minute to check ALL the waypoints in all 5 acts.
  4. PROFIT (Extra phat lewts!)
Tested, and confirmed.

Enjoy!
