It is letting players press the Legendary Gem button four times.
Blizzard is running four Mirrored Jewels events back-to-back from July 29 through August 26, 2026.
Each event gives players another opportunity to activate Mirrored Jewels during an Elder Rift and receive additional Legendary Gems from that run.
The event does not make the gems better.
It simply gives the loot table a photocopier.
Four Mirrored Jewels Events Run Back-To-Back
The anniversary schedule contains four separate weekly Mirrored Jewels periods:
- July 29 at 3 a.m. to August 5 at 3 a.m. server time
- August 5 at 3 a.m. to August 12 at 3 a.m. server time
- August 12 at 3 a.m. to August 19 at 3 a.m. server time
- August 19 at 3 a.m. to August 26 at 3 a.m. server time
The events begin immediately after the previous one ends.
That gives players almost an entire month with another Mirrored Jewels opportunity arriving every week.
Missing one period is still unfortunate.
It is considerably less catastrophic when three more copies are already waiting on the calendar.
Mirrored Jewels Applies To One Elder Rift Run
Mirrored Jewels is not a passive bonus applied to every Elder Rift during the event.
Players activate it for one selected run.
During that run, every Legendary Gem received as a reward is accompanied by an additional Legendary Gem.
This makes the choice of run important.
Using Mirrored Jewels with only one or two Crests wastes much of the event’s potential.
Using it with 10 Legendary Crests gives the system the largest possible set of Crest-generated rewards to mirror.
Players Should Save Ten Legendary Crests
Blizzard specifically recommends activating Mirrored Jewels during a run using 10 Legendary Crests.
Players participating in all four event periods should therefore plan around four fully supplied Elder Rift runs.
That could mean saving up to 40 Legendary Crests across the anniversary period.
Players do not necessarily need all 40 before the first event begins.
They only need enough for each weekly activation before that specific period expires.
The calendar has become a month-long exercise in not pressing the Crest button too early.
The Event Does Not Improve Drop Quality
Mirrored Jewels does not increase the normal probability of receiving a high-quality Legendary Gem.
The Elder Rift still rolls rewards using its regular drop chances.
If the original result is disappointing, the mirrored rewards do not magically transform the run into a jackpot.
The event increases the number of gems awarded.
It does not guarantee a 5-Star Legendary Gem or improve its quality rating.
Two disappointing gems are technically more valuable than one.
They are still capable of disappointing as a team.
The Extra Gem Is Not Necessarily Identical
Players should not assume that Mirrored Jewels creates an exact duplicate of every item.
Blizzard describes the additional reward as another random Legendary Gem of the same general reward type, with random quality where applicable.
The mirrored gem may therefore differ from the original result.
This creates another opportunity for a valuable drop.
It also prevents players from treating one strong gem as a guaranteed second identical copy.
The mirror reflects the reward system.
It does not operate a cloning laboratory.
Legendary Crests Provide The Real Value
A 10-Crest run matters because Legendary Crests guarantee Legendary Gem rewards.
Mirrored Jewels then adds additional gems based on the results of that run.
Players using Eternal Legendary Crests may also receive unbound gems that can be traded on the Market, depending on the normal rules governing the original and mirrored rewards.
Bound Legendary Crests generally produce bound gems.
Players should therefore decide whether they are chasing personal Gem Power, specific upgrades or potentially tradable results before assembling the run.
Free-To-Play Players Should Plan Carefully
Four Mirrored Jewels periods sound generous.
They may still be difficult to maximise for players who do not purchase Crests.
Free-to-play players should check current event rewards, Hilts Trader stock, Battle Pass rewards and any anniversary gifts before spending available Crests.
A partially filled Mirrored Jewels run is still better than forgetting to use the event entirely.
However, reaching 10 Legendary Crests produces the strongest possible use of the weekly activation.
The event is free.
The ideal ammunition remains considerably less casual.
Do Not Activate It By Accident
Players should pay close attention before entering an Elder Rift.
Once Mirrored Jewels is consumed on a run, that weekly opportunity is gone.
Activating it with the wrong Crest setup can turn a valuable anniversary bonus into a very small pile of additional Gem Power.
Before beginning the run, confirm:
- Mirrored Jewels is available for the current event period.
- The correct number of Legendary Crests has been inserted.
- The intended Crest types are being used.
- Every party member understands whose Crests and activation are involved.
Diablo Immortal contains many buttons.
This is one of the buttons worth reading twice.
Each Weekly Period Has Its Own Deadline
The four events are separate rather than one shared month-long charge.
Players should use each activation before its weekly deadline at 3 a.m. server time.
An unused opportunity from the first week should not be expected to carry into the second.
The next period provides a new event.
It does not necessarily preserve the one somebody forgot to use.
Setting a weekly reminder may be more useful than another build guide.
The Event Is Excellent For Gem Power
Even when the results do not include a desirable 5-Star Legendary Gem, the additional drops still provide Gem Power.
That makes Mirrored Jewels useful for upgrading existing gems rather than only chasing new ones.
A weak run can still contribute meaningful upgrade material.
Four properly supplied runs across the anniversary can generate a substantial amount of additional progression.
The jackpot remains rare.
The consolation prizes at least arrive in larger boxes.
Market Prices May React To The Extra Supply
Four consecutive Mirrored Jewels events could increase the number of Legendary Gems entering some servers’ Markets.
That may temporarily place downward pressure on prices for common gems or increase availability for particular upgrade materials.
Market conditions vary significantly between servers.
Players interested in selling should check local prices rather than assuming every mirrored result should be listed immediately.
Buyers may also find opportunities as other players unload anniversary rewards.
Diablo’s economy has survived demons, duplication and one ring becoming currency.
It can probably survive four weeks of extra gems.
The Timing Supports The 30th Anniversary
The Mirrored Jewels marathon is part of Diablo Immortal’s broader 30th-anniversary celebration.
The update also includes free Immortal King-inspired armor, returning limited-time activities and a planned revamped fight against Baal.
Running four gem events in sequence gives players a recurring reason to return throughout August rather than claiming one reward and disappearing.
Every Wednesday brings another opportunity.
Every Wednesday also brings another chance to realise the Crests were spent on Tuesday.
Use The Event, But Understand What It Promises
Mirrored Jewels is one of Diablo Immortal’s most valuable limited-time Elder Rift bonuses.
Four consecutive periods make the anniversary version unusually generous.
Players should save Legendary Crests, activate each weekly event on a 10-Crest run and remember that normal drop probabilities still apply.
The event doubles opportunities.
It does not double luck.
Prepare four runs.
Watch the weekly deadlines.
Then let the mirror decide whether it has brought treasure or simply twice as much upgrade material.
