Running out of fire.
Players report that Habacalva’s Cauldron can suddenly stop generating Heat during combat, removing the bonuses that make the five-piece Charm set worth using.
The Heat counter may vanish entirely.
It may also remain stuck at 15 while the actual Overheat effects stop working.
The Cauldron still looks equipped.
The build underneath it has quietly gone cold.
The Entire Five-Piece Bonus Can Stop Working
Habacalva’s Cauldron generates Heat when the Sorcerer uses Pyromancy skills.
After reaching 15 stacks, the set activates Overheat and provides major offensive and defensive benefits.
Affected players say the system can break in two different ways.
In one version, every Heat stack disappears and the Sorcerer becomes unable to generate new ones.
In another, the interface continues showing full Heat while spells begin consuming Mana again and the expected damage bonus disappears.
The buff icon remains optimistic.
The enemies notice the difference immediately.
Players Can Lose Several Important Bonuses At Once
This is not a minor tooltip error.
Fire Sorcerer builds can be designed around the full Habacalva bonus remaining active during difficult encounters.
When it fails, players report losing their damage multiplier, area damage, free Pyromancy casts, damage reduction and healing effects.
A character that was comfortably clearing enemies can suddenly struggle against the same monsters seconds later.
For high Tower or Pit pushes, the change can destroy the entire run.
The build does not gradually become weaker.
Someone apparently reaches behind the Sorcerer and unplugs it.
Ruptures Appear To Trigger The Bug Frequently
Many Season 14 reports connect the problem to Rupture circles.
Players say the set can stop working while they stand inside the seasonal event area, seal a Rupture or interact with its combat effects.
Some have begun avoiding Ruptures entirely because losing Heat during the event makes the encounter much harder to complete.
That creates an especially awkward situation.
The seasonal mechanic encourages players to enter the circle.
The Sorcerer’s equipment may respond by resigning.
The Bug Is Not Limited To One Activity
Ruptures may make the failure more common, but reports also mention Infernal Hordes, The Pit, The Tower, Kurast Undercity, Helltides and Nightmare Dungeons.
Some players encounter it after changing floors or beginning a new wave.
Others say it happens during boss fights or after teleporting to a War Plan location.
There is no single confirmed trigger covering every report.
The only consistent element is that the set can work normally for several minutes before abruptly becoming useless.
Ground Effects May Be Involved
Several players suspect that hostile effect circles contribute to the problem.
Poison pools, lightning areas, explosions and Rupture zones have all been mentioned.
Others have questioned whether Molten Band or specific Fire Sorcerer interactions interfere with Heat generation.
These are player theories rather than confirmed causes.
The bug has appeared across enough activities and configurations that multiple triggers may be involved.
Habacalva’s Cauldron does not merely have one leak.
Someone may have forgotten the bottom entirely.
Re-Equipping A Charm Can Temporarily Fix It
The most common workaround is to remove one Habacalva Charm and immediately equip it again.
This can reset the set and allow Heat to begin building normally.
Some players report similar success after changing a skill on the action bar, leaving the area, returning to town, mounting or dying.
None of these solutions appears permanent.
The set may break again several minutes later.
Opening the equipment screen during a high-level boss fight is also not an ideal combat rotation.
The Workaround Can Get Players Killed
Resetting the set requires attention at the exact moment the character has lost damage and defence.
The player may need to open a menu, move a Charm or replace a skill while enemies continue attacking.
In The Tower and The Pit, that interruption can ruin a timed attempt.
For Hardcore characters, it can create a much more permanent problem.
A five-piece bonus should help the player survive combat.
It should not require emergency jewellery maintenance in the middle of it.
The Problem Has Survived Multiple Updates
Reports of Habacalva’s Cauldron randomly stopping date back to May 2026.
Players continued reporting the same behaviour throughout July and into Season 14.
Patch 3.1.2 corrected several class, dungeon and seasonal bugs, but its notes do not mention Habacalva’s Cauldron or broken Heat generation.
Affected Sorcerers therefore have no official indication that the problem has been repaired.
The set has now remained broken long enough to qualify as a recurring seasonal feature.
Fire Sorcerers Have Few Reasons To Accept This
Players using Habacalva’s Cauldron have invested five Charm slots into one connected mechanic.
That is a substantial build commitment.
When the bonus works, it can support powerful Fireball, Firewall, Incinerate and other Pyromancy setups.
When it fails, the player cannot simply ignore one missing effect.
The resource engine, damage package and defensive benefits can disappear together.
The set asks for five pieces.
It occasionally delivers zero.
Blizzard Needs To Reset Heat Safely
The immediate fix should ensure that any transition, crowd-control effect or seasonal circle cannot permanently disable Heat generation.
If the set detects an invalid state, it should automatically clear and restart the Heat counter.
The five-piece bonus should also verify that its active effects match the displayed number of stacks.
If the interface shows 15 Heat, the Sorcerer should receive the full Overheat package.
A glowing counter that lies about the build is worse than no counter at all.
The Cauldron Should Not Go Cold Mid-Fight
Habacalva’s Cauldron is supposed to reward an aggressive Fire Sorcerer for continuously casting Pyromancy skills.
That fantasy works when the player builds Heat, reaches Overheat and turns the battlefield into a furnace.
It falls apart when the set randomly stops recognising the same skills it accepted moments earlier.
Blizzard needs to identify the state that disables Heat, repair the five-piece bonus and make the reset automatic.
Until then, affected players may need to keep their equipment menu ready beside their combat skills.
The demons are dangerous.
The real boss is restarting the Cauldron before the timer expires.
